How to use the Acoustic Generator

This generator synthesizes sound in real-time using the Web Audio API on your local device. It doesn't stream audio files, ensuring low network usage and pure, mathematically precise signals.

1

Select a Profile

Click on White, Pink, Brown, or Binaural Beats depending on your mental objective.

2

Use Headphones for Binaural Beats

Binaural beats require sending different frequencies to each ear (140Hz and 146Hz) to create the perceived 6Hz Theta wave entrainment.

3

Set Volume Comfortably

Adjust the slider to a level where the sound blocks distractions without feeling intrusive. Start low and increase as needed.

Sound Profiles Explained

White Noise: Constant energy across all frequencies. Sounds like a steady fan or radio static. Excellent for blocking sudden, sharp sounds and voice distractions.
Pink Noise: Equal energy per octave, decreasing in volume as pitch increases. Sounds like rain or wind. Balanced for prolonged focus and memory consolidation during sleep.
Brown Noise: Deep, heavy frequency bias, decreasing sharply at higher pitches. Sounds like a waterfall or rumbling storm. Highly recommended for calming racing thoughts or ADHD brains.
Binaural Beats (6Hz Theta): Synthesizes a 6Hz difference wave between left and right channels. Promotes deep relaxation, meditation, and creative visualization.
